April 20th and 27th** And an Announcement

If you are reading our preschool blog, then you will have a jump on this Sunday's announcement........the Children's Ministry team received an email from our current leader, Tish, this week, with this excerpt in it....

"I am excited to report that FBC officially has a new Pastor of Children's Ministry! On Tuesday, April 15th I was given the news at our staff meeting that Ed Holt has accepted FBC's ministry position as our new Children's pastor."

and....

"*Ed will officially start @ FBC on Sunday, May 4th. FBC plans to introduce him and his family to the congregation during worship during both services with a "MEET -n-GREET" reception in the atrium after each service (much like "meet the elders" event we have had in the past). Ed’s family has plans to join him in Chagrin Falls in early June. (The Holt children will be finishing up school in Marion in May.)
*FBC will announce Ed as our next Children's pastor this Sunday during the services and provide general information from his resume in order for the congregation to know a little more about him."

Ed was able to observe our wonderful preschool program on two occasions. He saw both the 9am and 10:45 teaching times. We look forward to introducing you all to him in the near future!

Sally and Bridget will both be out of town on Sunday, April 27th. Lorrie Digiampietro will be overseeing the 2-5 year old classes, and Rebecca Andrews will be overseeing the infant and walker nurseries. If you have any concerns that weekend please contact either of them, their numbers are in the current directory. You can pick up a new 2008 directory in the Atrium this Sunday.
